Houston has numerous neighborhoods and planned Communities. After 30 years I certainly have my favorites. I live in the suburbs to be close to my children and the benefits of the CyFair School District.
If you are looking for appreciation, we would suggest living closer to downtown, or a few select suburban areas. Living close to town provides appreciation for most, shorter commutes for most of the workforce, and easier access to more shopping, entertainment, and friends.
The popular Houston Inner Loop neighborhoods include River Oaks, Bellaire, and West University located inside the 610 Loop near downtown. The main master planned communities in the suburbs include The Woodlands about 20 miles to the North, Cypress to the Northwest, Katy to the West, Kingwood to the Northeast, Sugar Land to the Southwest, and Pearland to the South.
As like most large Cities, more single and young people live closer to town near the Entertainment with the Washington Street Corridor and Midtown the most popular. We can help you with finding a home or Apartment to lease, or a home to buy.
