Houston has Traffic and lots of it. When assisting my clients in finding a home, I always make them aware of the type of commute they should expect.

Some commutes from our Suburbs exceed an hour to downtown or the Med Center, certainly on rainy days. As in most large Metropolitan areas several people live in the suburbs (Cypress, Katy, Kingwood, Sugar Land, or Pearland) due to the pricing of homes, quality of living, shopping, and most importantly Schools. There are a few Public Schools near town that are Exemplary especially in the Bellaire, and West University areas, but most move to the suburbs for consistent Elementary, Middle, and High School education.
